She was married to the late Mr. Raymond D. Cassidy who died December 6, 1999. Born in Lowell, MA on May 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (DiRubbo) Chancey. Virginia attended Chelmsford Public Schools. Over the years, she was employed with Lowell Lingerie, Lowell Bunting, and Cleghorn Folding Box all of Lowell, MA. Virginia was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness of Chelmsford, MA. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara and her husband John Van Dinter of Chelmsford, MA, a sister, Pauline Zukowski of N. Chelmsford, MA, a brother, Joseph and his wife, Ethel Chancey of N. Chelmsford, MA, two grandchildren, Janice DeBenedictis of N. Chelmsford, MA, and Jason Van Dinter of N. Chelmsford, MA, and 3 great-grandsons, Joseph, Anthony and Domenic DeBenedictis. She was the sister of the late Anthony Chancey of N. Chelmsford, MA who died April 26, 2007. CASSIDY Mrs. Virginia Cassidy of Chelmsford, MA died Dec. 4, 2007.
