Vivian Beckworth Dobson

Vivian Beckworth Dobson -MACON - Vivian Beckworth Dobson, 78, died Thursday at Heartland Hospice Facility. Funeral services will be held at 3P.M., Sunday at Macon Evangelistic Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Gary W. Berrier will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue and may be contacted at the residence of Valeria D. and Edward Elliott. While flowers are certainly accepted, they suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Macon Evangelistic Church, 4500 Chapel Hill Drive, Macon, GA 31206. -Mrs. Dobson, wife of the late John Wilber Dobson, was born in Glascock County the daughter of the late Arthur and Kate Daniel Beckworth. She had lived in Macon since 1941 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Dobson was a member of Macon Evangelistic Church where she served joyfully and faithfully for many years as seamstress for the "He Touched Me" program presented annually by the church. -Survivors include her son, John Wayne Dobson of Macon; two daughters, Diane D. (Richard) Beck of Macon and Valeria D.
