I was shocked to just now learn of Donna's passing. She was much too young to go from her family so soon, but I guess that is not for us to say. My prayers are with Scott and his family.

Hello I did not know Donna, but I am very sad to hear about her passing. My son is in school with Samantha. My heart hurts for you and your family, and I will pray for God to give you strength and peace. I know from experience that this is an extremely difficult time. We lost my sister almost 10 years ago, and she left behind two beautiful girls. From reading the journal entries it sounds like you have a great support system. If you ever need anything I would be glad to help.

Seeing you get married, Xfiles, books, movies, New Years Eve knocks on your door, our children playing together, birthdays, anniversaries, seeing Crystal grow up and getting to meet Luis, joys, sorrows, Seeing Zach and Sam grow, bunny bites, Fourth of July, Cribbage trophy playoffs, Renassance Fair, sicknesses, coming to visit after Sarah's operation, heart to heart conversations and tons of laughter.......those are just some of the memories of you I will hold on to forever, Donna. Thanks for just being who you are. I am also a person who was truly blessed to have known you.

Scholz family,

All I can think of is an angelic smile from the heavens when I picture Donna in my head. All she needed were wings because she had the charisma and smile to be an honorary angel on earth. Fran, Brianna and myself send out our deepest thoughts and prayers to you all. We may have lost a friend on earth, but we all have an angel in spirit now.

I met Donna several years ago while a group of us were fighting a proposed power plant in our neighborhood. It was mostly a frustrating, uphill battle that we eventually lost, but it was meeting my new friend Donna that made it worthwhile. We would paint signs and hang them up at midnight and laugh our heads off, probably at the fact that we were making signs and hanging them up at midnight!! When we weren't laughting, we were solving the world's problems and giving each other the wonderful gift of friendship. I'll always remember her smile, her laugh, the twinkle in her eye, and what a wonderful, patient and loving mother she was.

I will miss her greatly and will pray that God brings peace and strength to her family.

Donna,

I know we only knew each other a short time, but even in that time, you touch me with your warm personality and spritual love. I know things weren't always easy for you, but you always had a smile for me when we passed in the hall. I will remeber talk the we had at lunch that day were you spoke about how much you loved to go fishing and sit out in the back of you house and just look at the water.I know your are at peace now and I hope you are catching lots of fish.

I will pray for your family because I can only imagine what they are going through. I know in time with Gods help, they will find peace.
