My Uncle Michael was a great man. He always made us smile. He was a funny outgoing person who did everything he could to see a smile on a persons face. I will miss him as much as the rest of my family will and i will always rember him as my favorite Uncle.

Patrice, I am so very sorry hear about Mike. Although I have not seen you or Mike in years I did get the opportunity to talk to your Dad frequently while he was living in the area. He would share with me what was going on in your lives. I plan on being at the service in Ruckersville on Saturday. My thoughts and prayers have been with you. The time the Miller/Estes families spent together while we were growing up is a cherished memory.
Love, Edie Pollard (Estes)

Debbie,
All in the Woodberry Forest school community mourn Mike's passing, and we send you and your family our prayers and best wishes.
I coached Mike in J.V. football at Woodberry Forest. He was a good player, who worked hard and could be counted on to give you his best in every game.
God bless you.

I had the opportunity to work with Mike in Texas and even lived with him and Debbie for a short while as we were trying to get a new satellite tv agricultural news channel off the ground. I have always respected Mike for his enthusiasm for the business of agriculture and know how hard a worker he was. He was a great broadcaster and I will sincerely miss him.

I worked with Mike at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas during the mid-1980s. He was a real professional and provided viewers with useful, understandable news about agriculture and the economy. He'll be greatly missed.
