Michael Hamer Obituary
Mourning him are daughters Emily, Zaria and Rebecca Hamer; wife and closest friend Judith Hamer; step-daughters Jennifer Ramos, Christine Kendal-Ward, Jaimie Kendal-Ward; first wife Susannah Cameron Crichon; family in the UK and US, colleagues associated with the Maine State Museum, and friends world wide.
A memorial service will be held on March 3 noon-2 p.m. at the Kincer Funeral Home in Richmond. To salute and support Michael's love for animals, the family requests donations be made to the S.P.C.A. in lieu of flowers. Thanks to the staff of the Mid Coast Hospital and the Bodwell Hospice of Brunswick.

Mike was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I had the honor of taking his very loved dogs out for walks while he was at work. I will miss our driveway chats and his lovely cups of tea. My corner of the world was very much better having him in it and I will and do miss him.
