Peggy and family, It is very very belatedly I am learning of Jim's passing. On our recent trip through Maine I was hoping to surprise Jim by stopping in at his work only to be told he had pasted by employees in his business. I was Jim's roommate at U of Maine and have so many fond memories of our times together. He brought me home numerous times to share the warmth of his home. I last saw Jim about 1997 on a previous trip north.I will always remember him fondly. God bless

Dear Peggy and Pellerin Family: My family and I were all so sad to hear of Jimmy's passing. Our relationship with Jimmy and the rest of the Pellerin boys (and of course Nancy) goes back to our childhood days as neighbors. My whole family loved Jim and his entire family and although we have all moved on in our lives and I haven't seen Jim for quite a few years, he will always be remembered fondly and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this very difficult time. We will always hold wonderful memories of Jim.

Peggy and family, I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I was to hear about your loss. I was in Texas over the weekend when Jimmy called me to tell me. There was no one kinder than Jim and he will be missed so very much. As Jimmy's already told you, if there is anything you need, we're right around the corner; any time for any of you. Jim meant so much to my Jimmy. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Peggy, Jason, Kyle, Alex & Danielle + family,
Mr.Pellerin was a big part of my life from the time I was little cheering for Fitzpatrick's Dairy. I remember our banquet hay rides at the end of the year I looked forward to them so much. Your family has been an intricut part of my family. I am so glad that I got the chance to see your dad and give him a big hug at the Pal games. From Jason, Kyle, Danielle to Alex we grew up with you all!! I am very blessed to have had met such a wonderful and caring man! This poem reminds me of him, please read and accept my apologies for not being able to come to the funeral. I know my family will be there I just wish that I could be myself.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

It has been too long since I have seen all of you, but everyone of you is dear to my heart and my prayers at this time in your life. Jim will be greatly missed, and was a remarkable role model for a father and family man. I have many fond memories of sliding down your big hill and playing with Alex and Danielle as we grew up together, and Jim laughing at us as we tumbled out of selds at the bottom. May you feel the Lord's embrace at this tough time, and please know every person Jim has met and touched over the years share your grief.

Dear Peggy, Jason, Kyle, Danielle and Alex,
As I weep in sympathy for all of you and in sadness for such a great loss to my mother's family and to all who knew Jimmy, I also am taken back to a much happier time. Back to when we were children and sweet summers on "Uncle Buzzy's" farm. Jimmy is a part of those memories that I will cherish forever. It did not go unnoticed to us, even though my siblings, cousins and I were much younger than him, that Jimmy was kind, gentle and loving.., and so handsome too! Peggy, it was a sad day for many young ladies the day you married him!
It has been said that a true measure of one's capacity to love is in the numbers of those who love him. I believe this to be true and I'm sure that no one will argue the fact that Jimmy Pellerin was truly an EXPERT at love.
My deepest sympathies to all of you for your loss and I will hold Jimmy forever in my heart.
Love,
Nancy Stratton

Peggy, Jason, Kyle, Danielle, Alex, and all family members,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we all mourn the loss of a most wonderful man. There are truly few people in the world that you can reflect upon their lives and find that everyone they encountered in their lifetime were blessed by their meeting. Jim always made everyone feel special, he made us all laugh, and we knew that he sincerely and deeply loved you all. This part of the journey will certainly be a challenge – hold onto all the incredible memories and to each other.

Dear Peggy and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I send this message.
I have had the pleasure of working with Jim as a vendor (Thermoflo) for Clark/Bell Simons for 17 years. I will not forget the opportunity to meet both you and Jim here in Milwaukee and the personal relationship I was able to build with Jim over these years. Jim made doing business enjoyable and I always looked forward to our phone calls. In addition to being passionate about his work, Jim taught me many things not only about the business but also about gardening and nature. His friendship and wisdom will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and others whoms lives have been touched by Jim during this difficult time.
Respectfully,

Dear Peggy & family,
We are all so saddened to hear about our cousin Jims passing! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. It was quite obvious to all who ever met your family, how much love you shared! Jim was a person I always looked up to and respected! Never too busy to stop and help me or anyone for that matter, solve a problem, work or otherwise. I felt so fortunate to get to know him better later in life dealing with the fine folks at Bell Simons and his work ethic showed through all of his employees every where I traveled through the state! I will miss all the great advice and stories we shared! He is a role model to us all and he will be sorely missed!

I am so saddened to hear the news of this passing. The last time I ran into Mr. Pellerin it was at the movies when I was up visiting my folks. He was always so sweet and kind and this was no exception. He was thrilled to run into me and to meet my children. He seemed a bit antsy and then finally said..."I just want to give you a hug." It was so cute. He then gave me a warm and loving hug and I will cherish that hug forever.

Dear Peggy, Jason, Kyle, Danielle, and Alex,
I am so heartbroken by the loss of Jim. He and your entire family have brought me such fond memories and examples of christian life that have inspired me and all who have been blessed to have crossed your paths.
Jim was a true example of God's love, and that the measure of a man is not of what he aquires in life, but by what he gives of himself to others in his lifetime. What a difference he has made in so many lives. What a legacy he has left.
His impressions will live on in my heart, as I know they do in yours, and will not be forgotten. I am so, so, sorry for your loss. My families' thoughts and prayers are with you all and your loved ones today and always. God bless.
