Dearest Terry & Family,
Thank you so much for sharing your lives with me. I truly enjoyed every minute of caring for you all! Reggie will forever be in my mind, standing on the front porch of your home last Tuesday, waving goodbye, as you did each and every visit Terry. Some people touch our lives for but a moment, others are with us forever. You will be in my heart and prayers always!
God Bless You during this time.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Deschaines Market was one of my favorite things growing up in North Vassalboro. I will always remember the patience he had with me and my friends as we would come in with our handful of change looking for a good deal on penny candy. It was always a great place! My parents still live up the road & I think of the store often when I drive by. He was great man and Im sure he will be missed by many.

OUR SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO YOUR FAMILY.
REGGIE WAS A BIG PART OF MY LIFE GROWING UP, ALONG WITH HIS WIFE( MRS. DECHAINE). I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE DAYS OF BUYING PENNY CANDY, MALLOW CUPS, VASHON'S RASPBERRY TURNOVERS, SPRITE, AND CORN CHIPS OR MAYBE JAX. YOU WERE BOTH SO PATIENT AS WE TOOK HRS PICKING OUT THAT CANDY. I MUST ADMIT THERESA HAD A FEW MORE PATIENTS. BUT WE STILL LOVED REGGIE. WE STILL CALL THAT CORNER BUILDING "DECHAINE'S".....OR WE'LL SAY "YOU KNOW WHERE REGGIES WAS".
WE WISH YOU STRENGTH IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. ALL THOSE GOOD MEMORIES KEEP HIS LIFE ALIVE, AND KEEP YOU SMILING.

LOVE, GUS & PAULA(HEMPHILL) SMILEY
