Nancy Bissonette Obituary

Nancy Littlefield Bissonette, 77 OGUNQUIT - Nancy Littlefield Bissonette, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at York Hospital after a short illness. She was born April 4, 1931 in Newburyport, Mass. and was a native of Ogunquit. She was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy, and the University of New Hampshire. She was active in the Ogunquit Baptist Church, was a trustee of the Ogunquit Memorial Library. She was an avid bridge player and was active in her grandchildren's activities. She is survived by her brother, Joseph D. Littlefield and his wife, Marcie of Ogunquit; her two sons Phil and his wife Aly of East Bridgewater, Mass., and Dana of Greenland, N.H.; two grandchildren Brian and Erika Bissonette also of Greenland, N.H. Two daughters, Mary Ellen and Martha Bissonette predeceased her. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2009 in the Ogunquit Baptist Church, 157 Shore Road. Burial will follow in the Ocean View Cemetery, Wells. Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, is directing arrangements. I am so sorry to learn about the passing of Nancy. I am very fond of her. We had a great deal of laughs, lunches, and just plain fun together. Nancy was a very special person and loved her whole family to the max. She is in my prayers and thoughts.

Nancy has been a good part of my life for 70 years. I will miss her terribly.
