Warren Peter Walls, 61
YARMOUTH - Warren Peter Walls, 61 of Yarmouth died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009 at his home and with his family at his side. He was born on Feb. 22, 1948 in Portland, the son of Evelyn (Libby) and John Walls. He grew up on the family farm off Sligo Road in Yarmouth. He attended Yarmouth schools then served in the US Army for three years. He worked for Drake Equipment Company for over 30 years. He will be greatly missed by his Monday and Friday lunch crew.
Peter was a former member of the Elks. Being a farm boy through and through he enjoyed farming his 47 acres, tending to the animals, taking care of the house and barn but he was happiest when he was on his Kubota tractor with the radio playing and ice tea in the cup holder.
Peter will be remembered for his strong will, being genuine, the clinking of the ice cubes in his ice tea, having a princess for a daughter, teaching his son the value of a strong work ethic andhis teasing of others. Most of all, Peter had a great sense of family for whom he was their

rock. If eyes are the mirror of the soul, his eyes were kind and they twinkled with contentment whenever his family was around.
Peter is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary (Greene) Walls of Yarmouth; his son Trevor Walls and his wife Chrissy and their daughter Alexis of Yarmouth; his daughter Carol Savage and her husband Stephen and their children, Amanda, Jessica, Sayre and Sydnie of Yarmouth; his mother Evelyn Walls of Yarmouth; his sisters, Sandra Bernard and her husband Joe of Yarmouth, Nancy Mowatt and her husband Junior of Yarmouth; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Timothy; and his father John.
At Peter's request there will be no services.
