Rose Adrienne Teague

Rose Adrienne Teague TUCSON, Ariz. -- Rose Adrienne Teague of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Westbrook, died on March 3, 2009. Born in Westbrook on May 30, 1917, to Pierre and Emelina Lekernec Melanson, she attended Westbrook Schools, Maine College of Art, and graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Art. She was an accomplished artist and made her living as a private art teacher, as well as a home maker. She married Charles Teague, and they made their home in Westbrook, before retiring in Tucson, Ariz. Charles predeceased her in 1995. She is survived by her sister, Marie (Mike) Cardamone of Freeport; her sister-in-law, Pauline Melanson of Portland; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank, Judy Townsend, Dr. James Hudson, Tucson Medical and Hospice Center, and Adrienne's caregivers at A Desert Casita ALH. A graveside service will be in the spring.
