Craig Curtis Obituary

Craig Curtis, 46 OXFORD -- Craig Curtis, 46, loving husband of Teresa Curtis (Brown), lost his courageous two year battle with Leukemia at Maine Medical Center with his loving family and friends by his side, on March 8, 2009. He was born in Norway on July 19, 1962, the son of Daniel and Linda Curtis and was educated in local schools, receiving his high school diploma at OHHS in 1980. He was a very hard working small business owner for 27 years servicing car dealerships from Portland to Gorham, N.H. Through his hard work and dedication Craig provided his family with everything they could ever want, always meeting their needs with a glad heart. He developed and ran his business with such integrity and honesty. He loved spending special times with his family and friends especially the many vacations to Ocean Isle, N.C. He enjoyed playing basketball, playing the stock market. He also enjoyed history, Clint Eastwood movies, and was a very passionate and dedicated football fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and the New England Patriots. He will always be remembered for his capacity to love and give endlessly to his family, always giving of his strength unselfishly to others during his own time of need. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humor with all of the many tricks he played on his nieces and nephews. He touched the lives of all whom knew him in an enormous way throughout his entire life. He valued life, and was valued by all who were touched by his life. He always appreciated and truly enjoyed all of the many 'little things in life,' and always smiling. To Craig Curtis Family,
I had know Craig for over 10 years working for the Bill Dodge Auto Group and him coming in with Kyle to do work for me.When I heard of Craig passing I was out of state and all I could do was hang my my head in sadness.Craig was truly a perfect gentleman and he was one of the hardest working most honest men I had ever met in my whole entire life I enjoyed so much doing business with him and developed as close relationship with him.Kyle has been in the Dealership and I still look for Craig waiting for him to come through the door with a smile and to let me know what vehicles need work. They say only the good die you but in this case only the great died young because he was truly a great man and a true friend.May he have eternal rest and may the family of Craig find peace within.God bless you all and hey Craig their will never be another one of you....Rest in peace friend and we shall meet again. You fought a tough battle and in your most weakest moments you would still show up to make sure things was getting done around the Dealership....Dedication you had it for everyone around you and you will so sadly be missed...you was the Best of The Best.

Teresa,
We have all lost a great friend...I have known your husband since coming back from the military and started working for automobile dealerships in 2000. In the past few years I have even had a chance to meet and work with your son, he is just like his Dad...I hope he continues in his footsteps!!! If there is anything that I can do for you or your family, please let me know!!!

I will miss you Craig. I will miss our Porch side chats about MFG's, and how much we needed to laugh and just Breathe. You will always be my geek who morphed into John Travolta. I will never forget the look in your eyes as you gazed upon my big sister for the first time, and NEVER will I forget the gift you gave to me in September, 2008. I love you.

Teresa,

What a beautiful family you have. Together, with your strength and love, you will continue on - including Craig in your daily thoughts. Your family touched me on that very first day we met. Your pain and despair were so evident and I felt helpless that I had no words to provide comfort to you as we both sat - suffering in silence in the hospital waiting room. Please know that I continue to pray for your entire family.
Warm regards,

Melissa and Paul Bergen Ostrowski
