Charles Zellner, Sr.
Charles Zellner, Sr., 81, of Fountain Hill, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in his home. He was the husband of the late Dolores M. (Balik) Zellner, for 59 years, until she died on April 25, 2009. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Erwin and Gertrude (Maurer) Zellner; and was also the son of late Howard and Rose (Hoffert) Cougle. Charles worked as a millwright for the Bethlehem Steel for 42 1/12 years, until retiring. Later he worked as a bus driver for Laidlaw for 13 years and for Foreign Auto in Bethlehem for 4 years. He was a member of St. Ursula Roman Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. Survivors: Daughter, Karen Bilyk of Bethlehem; son, Charles Jr. (Rebecca) of Emmaus; siblings, Donald of Forks Twp., Jack (Maria), Marline Bilger all of Allentown, Jean Kemp of Wilson, Tommy (Elsie) of Emmaus, Tim (Betty) and Bobby (Karen) all of Hamburg; grandchildren, Lynn (Joshua), Cynthia (Shawn), Rachel (Cory), Charlie (Jordan); great-grandchildren Jorge, Victoria, Shawn, Jr., Adriana, Aiden and Aaron. He was predeceased by daughter, Michele E. Zellner; son-in-law, Daniel S. Bilyk; siblings, Elmer, Howard, Charles, Louie, Mary, Dolly, Margaret and Elizabeth. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 in St. Ursula, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Family and friends are invited to call 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 25 and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Mon both in Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Interment: Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. hi, dad-father I already miss coming up every day.I miss you yelling at me because I was 4 minutes late. I will miss taking you to the doctor's 3 times a week, getting your pills but most of all I will miss our Top Diner dinners on Friday nights having our fish platters. Please take care of mom. So happy that you are finally together in heaven. I love you. Happy Easter!

Dear Karen &family,
Your dad was a wonderful man and will truly be missed. Living on the same street growing up and then getting married and living in the house next to your mom and dad was wonderful....I was very fond of them both and will have many fond memories.I will always have great memories of sitting on our back porches having many long talks.
