Dave Legeno, the actor who played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in the “Harry Potter” films, has died.
Multiple news sources are reporting the death of actor Dave Legeno, age 50. Legeno was found July 6, 2014, by hikers in a desert region of California. Heat is a suspected factor in his death.
A former bouncer, boxer, and wrestler, Legeno has film credits stretching back to 2000’s “Snatch.” Most recently he played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” (Parts 1 and 2).
As a mixed martial artist, he had a 4-3 win-loss record from 2005 to 2007.
