Four people were killed in a shooting early Sunday morning

Four people were killed in a shooting at the Kansas City, Kansas bar Tequila KC early in the morning of October 6. Five more were injured.  

The shooting took place just after 1:30 a.m. and is suspected to have been related to an incident in the bar earlier in the evening when bartenders refused to serve a man who had caused problems at the bar. Two people were responsible for the shooting; one has been apprehended by the police.

The people killed in the shooting were:

Francisco Anaya-Garcia, 34

Alfredo Calderon, 29

Ebar Meza-Aguirre, 29

Martin Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 58

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly issued a statement, saying, "For now, we must all pull together to help the community and those affected by this senseless tragedy heal. It's important to not only remember victims of the shooting, but also their loved ones left behind. Our attention is on them now and in the days and weeks to come."
