Robbie.... I was deeply sad to hear about the passing of Brian. He was always a hoot in class with making me laugh. At first I did not know who he was until I saw the photograph and said, yea...that's crazy Brian Dry. Then a sudden sadness came over me. You know...Brian is not suffering anymore. He is probably hanging out with other Cary High Angels like Sherlita Smith and Benton Overman.
I still remember him walking the hallways at Cary High and the teachers were always asking him where is was going. Usually is was to ISS (smile). I now that Brian grew up to be a friend, confidant, husband and a wonderful father. I will keep you and the boys in my prayers. If there is ever anything I can do, please let me know. Take care Robbie...you are going to make it. God always keeps his promises.

Dear parents of Brian,
We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved son Brian. There are no words that can adequately express what a profound loss it is to lose a child. We too have suffered this devastating loss. We belong to a volunteer support group that is comprised solely of bereaved parents and want to reach out to you by letting you know about our group. We meet twice a month in Raleigh to share and give support. If you have any questions or just want to talk, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you. And please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult and sad time. All adult grieving members of the family are welcome to our group.
With love and concern,
The Compassionate Friends of Wake County

I was at a total loss for words upon hearing this news. Brian was such a great guy, always happy and always honestly sincere. I remember the first day he moved to the area and turned heads. He only gave his heart to Robbi and created a great love story. Another reminder of time being too short due to a senseless tragedy. My thoughts, prayers and sympathy to all who loved/cared about Brian and his family. If I would have heard the news sooner I certainly would have attended the services to pay my respects. Sadly, Cyndy Decker White

Dearest Robbie,
There are no words that I know of to make this easier for you. Brian was a peach! Please know that grandma and my family are all praying for you and the children. I just wish we could be there with you, but grandma cannot travel. Good luck and hug your mom and dad. That's the best advice I can give you. Love to all.
