James Pierce Obituary
He was born in Nash County, the son of Irene Coley Pierce and the late James Arthur Pierce, Sr. Mr. Pierce was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, March 6, 2009 in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow with military honors in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lettie "BooBoo" Pierce; daughter, Vivian Billmyer and husband, Todd of Wake Forest; son, James A. Pierce III and fiance'e, Jennifer Bridwell of Virginia; mother, Irene Pierce of Whitaker; grandchildren, Meagan Leonard and husband, Eric, Karleigh Pierce, Kayla Pierce, Natalie Pierce, Jack Billmyer; great-grandson, Noah Heath.
Friends may visit with the family from 7:00-8:30 Thursday evening at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center (919-556-5811)
