Andy was a fine man!! I worked for him in the early 1970s. He was very caring and loved to help others. He loved making others laugh and always enjoyed having a great time. He was a pleasure to know and work for at Voc. Rehab State Dept. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Andy and I went to high school together in Lexington, NC. Andy would alway make your day a better day and would always make you laugh. I heard lots of stories from him and Bill Swaim from their days of being life guards. I am saddened by his passing, but can always smile when I think of him and how much he gave to other people in his life.My thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially his daughter.

Andy and I grew up together in Rockwell, N.C. We had lots of fun times together as kids, and I regret that we lost track of one another after he and his parents moved away. I never forgot Andy and received periodic updates about him from our mutual friend, Tony Misenheimer. I am saddened by his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am so sad to hear about Andy. He was a great man who could certainly spin a tale and make you laugh. I enjoyed working with him and knowing him through the years in Rehabilitation. My heart goes out to his family.

Andy was my close friend and advisor for many years--he was always there in difficult times. He was younger than me but was wise beyond his years. My wife Billie and I are very saddened at this time. We will surely remember Andy and his wit and wisdom for unending time.
