Irene Williams Obituary
She was born February 17, 1922 in Greeleyville, SC. Irene was the daughter of the late, Willie and Clara Washington Jackson. She loved reading her bible, cooking, sewing and giving unconditional love to her family and all others she could claim.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Williams, Sr., four sons, two brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Annie Moody of Nashville, NC, Leroy Williams and wife, Celeste of Fort Washington, MD, Andonia Harrison and husband, George of Anchorage, AK; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four daughters-in-law.
Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Northeastern Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Wake County and the staff at Blue Ridge Health Care Center.
