Carol was my loving, loyal, and delightful friend and colleague over many years. We shared a lot of our youth, dancing and choreographing together at the University of Michigan, sharing an apartment for a year on NYC's lower east side, dancing together in NY and North Carolina, dreaming and hanging out. She shone. I always felt loved and appreciated in her presence. We'd been back in touch over the past several years, and it was so great to see and speak with and laugh with her. I miss her so much.

I lovingly acknowledge Carol's presence and effect on my life, from our early days at the University of Michigan. She was beautiful, vital, and a joy to me.
I share my condolences with all who loved her.
