Well done, dear and treasured friend Bob. It was my privilege to enjoy your company at the Cone, and to fish with you on Long Island. With fondest memories forever. Be thou at peace.

Dear Mary,
We are so sorry that Bob has left this world. We have prayed for him and are praying for him and will continue to pray for him. I'm sure I met Bob in 1963 even before that awful first day of July when the Class of '67 reported to the man in the red sash because we were both from Upstate New York (Oneida) and thus had to go down to Governor's Island for our entrance physicals in March of '63. Bob always was upbeat and ready to help anyone who needed a boost. Last year we spent more than an hour on the phone when I had called him to get information about some West Point function. We talked about many things and when I put down the phone I knew I had been given a wonderful gift.

God bless Bob and you.

Mary, please accept our heartfelt condolences and know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. As avid fly fishermen ourselves, Pam and I enjoyed our time with Bob on the Conoquete River at the 35th reunion. And we proudly used the flies that he tied for us this past year. We missed his presence and fellowship at that time. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered each time we are blessed to cast a delicate trout fly onto a beautifully flowing trout stream. God be with and bless you and your family.

An infectious spirit is taking on new challenges with his God. Bob was at opposite ends of the Class of '67 from my domain. I had the honor of working with him on the Reunion Committee for the past several Reunions and he definitely made those experiences better for him having been a huge part of it.
Bob also became acquainted with my son, Kenneth, through the cancer center at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Both of them have been and are at the top of my prayer list.

Be thou at peace, Brother. You are and will be missed. You leave a gigantic hole in the Class.

We did not know Mr. Wysocki very well. We knew him as the father of our children's friends, Chris and Lauren. They all, even Mary, had those shining bright eager eyes and quick smile! Those shining eyes are one of his gifts to his wonderful children. Mary, I think you will always see your husband's soul in your children's eyes. He was a wonderful man. May God bless you all.

Bob was always of good cheer and willing to help his classmates at West Point. He was a good friend and will be missed by many until we all join him beyond the river. It is not a matter of if, but only when. May it be said of Bob, "Well Done!"

Dear Mary & Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Bob. My husband Bill is one of his class mates from West Point and we've been praying for you all and Bob since we first heard of his cancer. It was good to see Bob and our 40th reunion, but unfortunitly we didn't get a chance to talk to him. I belong to our West Point Prayer Warriors and want you to know you and your family will continue to be in our prayers. I will also pray that Bob will know the peace and happiness our Lord has promised us.

Bob was a wonderful friend and classmate. He made many substantive contributions to the class and the Academy. In addition, he made the hard work of reunion planning fun to do. He and Mary were a positive influence on morale. He will be missed.

As one of Bob's many classmates/brothers-in-arms from West Point, I'll always remember foundly Bob's great exuberance for Life.
In the Fall of our Yearling (sophmore) year, those of us on the Cross Country Team traveled to Syracuse for a race at the University. After the race, following up on Bob's strong recommendation, several of us dined at the Wysocki resturant. Another warm memory of our connection to Bob and his family.

Bob has been a dear friend for over 40 years. We shared a life long passion for fly fishing, bird hunting and shotgun sports. He was such a good person -- enthusiastic, helpful, and willing to chit chat about our sporting adventures. He was always so positive, even as he fought this incidious cancer. I will miss him dearly, and I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and his many other friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I had the pleasure of working for him at NYNEX and will miss him.

January 25, 2008

My sincerest condolences. I worked with Bob when he was with "the telephone company". We were both in Treasury at the time and, in fact, he was my predecessor on "the cash desk". He always was a fun, energetic and personable guy who was quick to offer support. Unfortunately, we lost contact over the years, but these fond memories of him will remain with me. May you have similar fond memories of Bob, and may they enable you to cope at this difficult time.

I am truly sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I worked for him at NYNEX in 1984-85 and he was a great boss - supportive, genuinely interested and willing to do what was right for his team. It was a great example of integrity and leadership. However, my fondest memory is of him doing a head-first slide into home plate - on blacktop - in the NYNEX "Young Bucks vs Old Geezers" game. Pure Bob - 100% and joyous.

Please accept my deepest condolences.
