Jerry DiGirolamo Obituary
A life long resident of Garfield, he served in the Army from 1950 to 1952 in Germany. He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, and a past member of the Garfield VFW Post 2867. He was a contractor for 40 years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving are three daughters, Dawn Dunkerley and her husband, James, Janine Costanzo and Jerilyn DiGirolamo; two brothers, Frank and Vito; and five grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Addie (2012); his son, Anthony (1981); and a son-in-law, Timothy Costanzo (2011).
Funeral was Aug. 3 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield, with a committal service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Arrangements by Aloia Funeral Home, Garfield.
The family is accepting memorial donations for the American Diabetes Foundation.
