For Cal, Gloria, Mike and Jill, distance and time have not dimmed what God has brought together. You were always important people to us, the Crawley's. My heart leaped when I heard that Joey had left for Heaven. I share your sadness too. By the conversations I had with Joey in recent times, I know his heart was in Christ Jesus. We took comfort in one another's convictions and I am proud of what he came to discover and live in life. I truly love you and pray deeply for you all. Let not my being over here in Europe make you think I have forgotten. I have not. Sometimes being over here makes me think I am doing penance for me and at least a handful of Joey and I's Milford "meanderings". God is very good and we can trust His promises. Joey is in Heaven and wants us all to take our lives seriously in the Light of the Gospel. I know you are. Prayerfully, Br John Mary Ignatius

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family, I didn't know "Joey" personally, I knew of him through the Butch Smith family. He was a handsome man whom everyone adored. Take comfort in knowing he suffers no more and he is always watching over you now as you were him while he was sick.
