Lee Young Obituary
There was no official cause of death, but Young's manager, Paul Baruch, said the actor "tragically took his own life."
"Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time," Baruch said in a statement.
Young's body was found at his North Hollywood home by police Monday morning after he failed to show up for work on TNT's crime drama "Rizzoli & Isles," police Officer Sally Madera said. The Los Angeles Fire Department was summoned and pronounced him dead at the scene, she said.
LAPD robbery-homicide detectives and the Los Angeles County coroner office were investigating because it is a high-profile death, she said. Madera had no details about the cause of death.
In the TNT series, Young played Barry Frost, a computer savvy — but squeamish— police detective.
Earlier Monday, TNT announced it was renewing the series that stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander.

Lee, you had such a short life that touched so many people. You are greatly missed. May you family and friends, and also your fans, be consoled with the thought that your short life fulfilled its purpose. May people considering suicide learn from you that they still have a life purpose here and get help fulfilling it. Lee, only U know what torment U were going through, there was always a way out and his name is JESUS ! Your image left behind is and will 4-ever be; handsome, brilliant, smart, talented and very cute.
Ms. Velma and rest of fam., Lee is pain-free now, a mother always know when their child is in pain. (BEEN THERE , DONE THAT ), No matter what Lee's choice was of easing his pain, GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES.
I watched Lil Lee grow up on TV with my kids, starting with famous jett Jackson-crime fighter,super hero, til now. As a mother myself, my heart is broken and distrubed. It's like another family member passed away again, right in frt. of my eyes.
