Thinking of Ross and my years with Mrs. Young and whole family in Greenville SC. So grateful to have had Mrs. Young as a teacher and caretaker, so grateful to have been wrapped into this family at such a vulnerable time. Such women power, such compassion, such strength and love combined. Endless love and gratitude. tes

Thought of "Ms. Young" today and felt such love and gratitude for how much of my life turned a 180 due to her guidance and presence in my life. Ross too, changed everything for me. Such love and gratitude for you both. (alias tiffany!)

I met Mildred through our first introduction to rug hooking. She was my constant friend and compatriot at Betty Krull's rug hooking classes. We had a special bond. I missed her terribly when she moved from Greenville. I had the priviledge to visit her once after her move to Aiken. She will always have a special place in my heart. I loved her dearly.

I worked with Mildred in the Greenville County School District Office in the early 1990's and enjoyed her quick wit and love of life. I have a Christmas Santa ornament she gave me and I think of her every year when I place it on our tree. My prayers and thoughts are with your
family.

We have missed Mildred since her move to Aiken. We truly enjoyed her friendship, and the lessons she taught us about dying yarn, making rugs and gourds. She loved her children, and Kate enjoyed a very special place in her heart.

Mrs. Young was our son's 5th grade teacher at Sara Collins. She went above and beyond for Chip when his grades fell. She will be remembered. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Holland
