Thomas Gilsinger Obituary

WANAQUE — Services were held for Thomas George Gilsinger, 54, of Hardyston Township, who died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

Born in Paterson, Mr. Gilsinger grew up in Wanaque's Haskell section and lived in Greenwood Lake before moving to Hardyston Township in 1988. He was an auto-body mechanic for Oak Ridge Auto Body, West Milford for many years and for other auto-body shops in the area. Also, he was a member of the Bergen Irons Motorcycle Club.

Services were Friday at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, Franklin. Donations may be sent to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.

Mr. Gilsinger is survived by his wife, the former Jackie Walsh, of Franklin; his stepdaughter, Tamsen Culver, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; his parents, George and Phyllis, of Haskell; his brother, Gerald, of Haskell; his sister, Cynthia Alesandro, of Kinnelon; and two granddaughters.
