Lawrence R. Kurey

LAWRENCE R. KUREY LANSING, IL Lawrence R. Kurey, age 84, of Lansing, IL, passed away September 30, 2008. He is survived by his sisters: Judith Kurey O.S.F. and Susan Kurey; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers: Michael Kurey, Joseph Kurry, Albert Kurry, Raymond Kurry and Robert L. Kurey. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. from Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd. for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Entombment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. Mr. Kurey was an avid bowler, baseball player and Chicago White Sox fan. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was retired from Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARCO) Refinery of East Chicago, IN. In lieu of flowers in memory of Mr. Kurey, Masses would be appreciated.
