Dear Miss Jo, the ultimate wife, mother, grand-mother, friend and neighbor.

She never had a harsh word to say about anyone. She always admired the the good side of a person.

Cooking was her passion and whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, she served an eight course meal. On holidays, it was a 24 course meal.

She adored and lived for her family.
She was so proud of each of you. She constantly bragged about her son-in law, John, and how hard he worked for his family.

We were fortunate to have known both Al and Jo Casale. Miss Jo was everyone's second mother. On occasion, she would "tip" a needy waitress a $100 and offer a few words of encouragement. She always offered a helpful hand to the needy and never asked for recognition.

So many memories of laughter, tears and love.

Our favorite story was when she was a new bride and her husband decided to go out with has co-workers for a few drinks. He returned at 3 AM. I know you all know the story so I won"t repeat it again.

In closing, Miss Jo will be missed by many. Again, she was the ultimate. She leaves us with a legacy of compassion, diversity, friendship and love for all.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;

And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again!
