Robert Mehl Obituary

ROBERT W. MEHL SCHERERVILLE, IN Robert H. Mehl, age 80, of Schererville, IN, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mildred; three daughters: Melanie Sterba of Schererville, Carolyn (Jon Haufler) Mehl of Montana and Christine Mehl of Texas; two sons: Keith (Sherry) Mehl of Florida and David Mehl of Texas; three granddaughters: Carlee, Paige and Caitlin; one grandson, Patrick (Kelly); mother, Bertha (late Clifford) Curott of Michigan; sister, JoAnn (late John) DeKleva of Michigan; brother, Richard Mehl of Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Godfrey, in 1977. Funeral services were private and entrusted with Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (corner of Main and Kennedy). (219) 322-7766. Robert was a retired Postal Worker and a Navy Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 611, Hebron, IN 46341.
