To my friend Joe, from one Navy Man to another thank you for your dedication and SERVICE because of the Greatest Generation you gave us a better World for me and others to raise our females and it is a great privilege to have you and Pula as our friends in Chile, not only do we remember both of you but many times in a conversation you are remembered. Your felt hat that you forgot and we had to go back and get it At Miriam and David's .
Joe you will always be in our Harts and Minds.
All our Love from Chile to you and yours Fran, Gene.

Great Uncle Joe, you always brought life and joy to the "party". I have great memories that date back to when I had the chances to visit you in Puerto Rico. You always made me feel like a grandson. Your genuine and kind words about my Father (August Ingellis) and my Grand Father (Vincent Ingellis) made me proud to be an Ingellis. You will be missed,
Lee

"Uncle Joe was to me, on a scale of 1 to 10, an 11." Your nephew Augie told me this and they are my sentiments exactly! Your gifts were unique and God given and you lived your life to the fullest! Many love you and will miss you. Thank you for great conversations, your insights about life, your funny stories and jokes, your accounts of your youth growing up in New York and as a young man in the Navy, your travels and years in Chile. Thank you for whistling tunes (FANTASTIC whistler), singing carols with me at Christmas, lunches and mall walking....! All in all thank you for your company these past years! I loved every minute. I will miss you terribly! Your niece, Linda Ingellis Bigden
