Dorothy Joyce Obituary

Dorothy "Dottie" Joyce (nee Stedman) 96, died peacefully September 5 at her residence, in Regency Park, Gambrills. Dottie was born in Elkton on August 12, 1917, was raised at the Sacred Heart Academy in Lancaster, PA and moved back to Maryland after graduation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Joyce Jr., and her son, Richard Stedman Joyce. Dottie is survived by her children, Douglas Joyce of Ladera Ranch, CA, Barbara Perron of Glen Burnie, Sandy Dalton of Crofton, and David Joyce of Ashburn, VA; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, September 9, at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home. Funeral Service to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, at St. Bernadette Parish. Interment is private.
