Boyd Fisher Obituary

Boyd Thomas Fisher, 70, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Granbury. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Stonewater Church in Granbury. Visitation: was Friday at Wiley Funeral Home. Boyd was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Cleburne to Zemrie and Pearl Tidwell Fisher. He was a member of Stonewater Church where he was a church counselor and worked with youth in the Elevate at Stonewater Church program. Boyd was involved in several Bible studies, including Brothers of the Cross and Lynx. He was a very active member of Stonewater Church and he loved his Lord Jesus and Savior. He was a true renaissance man. Boyd was retired from General Motors and loved to travel and play golf. Preceding him in death were his parents; twin sisters, Georgia Snyder and Ruby Underdown; and a niece, Melody Middlebrook. Survivors: Wife, Terri Ann Fisher; sons, Brent Fisher, Jonathan Tanksley and Joseph Kenner; daughter, Brooke Morales; grandchildren, Ian, Vincent and Vivian Morales; two nieces; and one nephew.
