Brittany was born Jan. 24, 1986, in Houston. She spent her high school years in College Station, where she graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in three short years. Upon graduation from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in industrial distribution, Britany moved to Dallas-Fort Worth to begin her career in logistics. She was residing in Fort Worth, where she worked as a switch gear project manager for Crescent Electric. Brittany is remembered most by her family and friends for her infectious smile, contagious laugh and a giving heart that never met a stranger. She loved spending time with friends and family at their lake house or the beach. She was an avid alumna who never missed any of the Aggie sports. Her passion for her family, friends and work allowed her to live a rich, full life although taken away from us too soon. Brittany was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sam and Nelda Blanton. Survivors: Her parents, Jeff and Patti Marek Blanton; brother, Chad Blanton; sister, Heather Blanton; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Mary Louise Marek; aunts and uncles, Larry and Patti Marek, Karen and Herb Rohloff, Randy and Louise Blanton, Steve Blanton, Mack and Jennifer Blanton and Richard Blanton; and cousins, Nicole Faldyn, Michelle Strong, Chris Blanton, Ben Blanton, Karl Blanton and Samantha Blanton.
