Nina Lynne Hollister Krauth was born on November 18, 1950 in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away peacefully on October 28, 2012 in Fresno, CA. Nina was born to Delores Eleanor Grande Hollister and Marion Warren Hollister. Nina graduated high school from Eastmoor High and attended Ohio State University. In 1972, Nina married Richard Glen Krauth in Columbus, Ohio. She gave birth to her son Richard Dustin Krauth in 1974 in Statesboro, Georgia. She always said Dustin was the best thing that ever happened in her life. Nina and her family moved to Fresno, California in 1985, where she attended Fresno City College. In 1992, Nina earned her AS degree in Paralegalism, and with the mentoring of Brian McCully, Nina continued her education at San Joaquin College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 1995 and obtained her license to practice law. While at San Joaquin College of Law, Nina was on the Law Review Board and her law Review Article was published and has been cited in several cases. Nina was a movie buff, especially when it came to the older movies. Her favorite stars were Betty Davis and Lucille Ball. Most of all, Nina loved her family, friends, and animals. Nina was an advocate for the rights of children and the elderly. Nina will be missed by her family and friends with the comfort that she is now at peace with God for eternity in heaven. Sorry to hear about this so late. You and Rick made an important and lasting impression on my life. Not too many people could drive around in a VW Bug with a Rolls Royce front end but is was as distinctive and unique as you were. Generous, direct, intelligent, quick witted with a sarcastic, dry sense of humor. Just a genuine person. I have fond memories of you guys. You will be missed.

Rest in peace Nina. I'll treasure our High school days and the fun we had. You always were one to have fun and smiled everyday. I was so glad to see you at our 40th. reunion and I was thankful to be able to visit with you. I was looking forward to seeing you again at the next one. Your memory will live on each year when we give another scholarship to an Eastmoor graduate. Your idea to do this , I hope will live on forever. Each year since the first I have been there, and have been lucky to give them out the last 3 years. I will take great honor this year knowing this one will be dedicated in your memory.
You will be missed each and everyday.

I am so sorry to learn of Nina's passing. She was a thoughtful, intelligent and caring person. I was always impressed by her analytical ability and her commitment to "getting it right." She was the type of student that makes teaching a joy. My condolences to her family.
