My family's sincere condolences for the Alcorn's collective loss. I had the good fortune of knowing Howard through my friendship with his son, Scott. As a young Milwaukee Bucks fan, I never forgot that I once tried to argue that Marcus Johnson was better than Larry Bird. Howard, as a Celtic fan was very kind and playful in bringing that up on future occasions. He was a wonderful role model for all.

I worked with Howard for many years. He said what he meant and meant what he said; a kind, compassionate and gentle man. My thoughts and prayers are with Barb and all his loved ones.
