Carl Gorden Obituary

Carl Levi Gorden Charlotte Carl L. Gorden, 60, born April 2, 1953, passed away at home on September 15, 2013. Carl was retired from General Motors; an avid golfer, played the Eldorado Unity League, and loved MSU sports. Survivors include his wife of 10 years and teacher at the Grand Ledge Public Schools, Sheryl; sons Carl (Michelle) II and Timothy; step-daughters Tina (James) Weatherwax-Grant and Lyn (Jeremiah) Mulnix; 9 grandchildren Dillion, Dalton, Brianna, and Chelsea Gorden, Austin, Monet Ackley, Madelynn, Samantha Grant, and J. Michael; brothers Robert and Donald (Jody) Gorden; sister Linda (Mike) Houser and step father Dale Youngs and special family close friend, Steve Randall. He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Lilah (Beckwith) Gorden. The family will begin to receive family and friends at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 5-7 p.m., with Funeral Services to begin at 7:00 p.m. For those desiring, memorial contributions made to the First Tee of Mid-Michigan will be greatly appreciated.
