Edward Eiger Obituary
Edward Eiger, 94, of White Plains, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016.
Edward was born in Brooklyn to Minnie and Joseph Eiger. He grew up in New York City and married Estelle Katz in 1951. Edward was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Navy from 1943-1946. He was awarded a New York State War Services Scholarship and attended New York University. He earned degrees in accounting, business and law. Edward was both an attorney and accountant for four decades. He served as an officer and director of the Accountants Association of New York.
Edward lived a long and successful life. He was a caring father and husband who inspired others with his love of learning and education. Edward is survived by his wife, Estelle, his children, Deborah and Janet, and his grandchildren, Erica, Joseph and Emily, and other loving family members.
