I was just digitizing many of my photographs and came across a picture of Tom accepting his college degree. He had "autographed" the back of the photo and had said, when he gave it to me, "this will be worth something when I am President of the United States." If Tom had lived I think he well could have done it! Love to all the Wilcox family. Tom was a wonderful friend and any overall great individual.

I do not know Tom. I was actually surfing Classmates.com and ended here. I am from Griffith as well. It hurt my heart to see a young man leave so soon. My heart and prayers go out to your family. May Tom be resting in Paradise.

Dear Wilcox family,
As a member of the Song of Ice and Fire community, it is the hope of all of us that you know that your son/brother was a valued member of our online community.
It is a struggle to convey in words how much he will be missed by us, people with whom his only interaction is via words and the internet...but the words he wrote while with us envoked a wide range of emotions from us such as laughter, frustration, reflection, and introspection.
He loved a good debate, and told us stories of how he used to talk politics with his family...envoking in his family many of the same feelings some of us who debated with him at our message board felt.
Godspeed Tom, we look forward to the day you can make us smile, talk, or debate with one another once again.

Don, Chris, and Chrystal, Our whole family is devasted about the news about Tommy. I just heard from George Scott, ran down to tell Mike, and called John. We just can't believe it. Although it's been many years since we have seen all of you, still have very fond memories of all the Scout activities, and the swimming at your house. Just can't express what I'm feeling right now, and I'm sure you can't either. Please take care of each other during this difficult time, and God Bless all of you. The Paskevich Family, Mike, Candi, John and Adam

I cannot imagine a friendly BBQ without Tom around - he was the one guy who had perfect attendance.
I can't believe we're never going to have that conversation about "The Wire," as he was impatiently waiting for me to finish the series. I'm quite sure he would have had remarkable insights.
What a guy. A lot of us talk about getting involved, for example. Tom was the one making phone calls last fall.
He was genuinely like a member of our family.

To the Wilcox family
I am so deeply saddened by Tom's passing. I remember him as the little whipper snapper who was always playing around with Adam and Chris when the big boys would let him. I'll always see him smiling and having fun.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Don, Chris and Crystal. With Deepest Sympathy,
Patricia Schroader (Adam's mom)

To my second family that I feel so sorry for at this time. Tommy was like a little brother to me and will be missed by all. Those who have not had the chance to meet him have lost out. I will always remember having great debates with Tommy about anything in politics. You will be missed Gov. Tommy. My thought and prayers go to the Wilcox family and friends.

Tom/EHK was someone I felt I knew well, though I never met him in person. I looked forward to his posts as he was a passionate, funny, very articulate guy who wasn't afraid to let people knew where he stood. He will be missed terribly. Lillian (Tears of Lys)

Tom was an inspiration to his peers, to his community, to everyone he touched.
I am deeply saddened that I will never get the chance to meet him now, or know him better. His wit, his intellect, and his passion will continue to inspire me.
I can only begin to imagine how deep the loss must be for those who knew him better, not to mention his family. My thoughts go out to you all in this difficult time.

Dear Wilcox Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. When we were all small we used to hang out at your house and go swimming all the time and we had so much fun. I am just so speechless as to why God had to call another of of your family home with him already. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Tom was the most incredible person I know that that I was never able to meet in person. We were on a first name basis just recently, but I've been a fan for a long time. I laughed countless times during the four years of our acquaintance, and and cried several times with the news of his passing. His absence will be forever.

Tom, I have so many memories thru our life together. It is because of you that I will never ride the American Eagle backwards again. Everytime I hear Metallica, I remember singing with you. I ate turtle and buffalo for you. I went to some formal dances because you wanted to go. I will always love and miss you. RIP......
