Felton SCOTT Obituary
Felton W. Scott "Scotty", 79, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away October 5, 2016. Scotty was born in Coral Gables, FL and grew up in Winter Haven, FL. As a young man, Scotty was a water ski performer at Cypress Gardens, and was the world trick ski champion in 1955. He graduated with an aeronautical engineering degree from the University of Florida and then went to work at Pratt & Whitney for 32 years. Scotty was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. He was truly an exceptional person and a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy; brother, Bill (Alyce) Scott; son, Felton (Linda) Scott; daughter, Kerri (Richard) Marguet; son, Bill (Rachel) Netto; son, David (Dara) Snowden; daughter, Pam (Mike) Erickson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Scotty was an avid boater, diver, and fisherman. Among Scotty's greatest loves was spending time on his trawler (Black Gold) with his "Sweetie Pie" Peggy in the Bahamas. A Celebration of Life, honoring Scotty, will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2:00PM, at the home of Pam and Mike Erickson.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of "Scotty". He was a well respected engineer at Pratt & Whitney, and a pleasure to work around. His sense of humor was an enduring quality that I remember most of all, and I'm absolutely sure his family members will miss Scotty's other positive attributes.
