Arnis Lamberts Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Arnis Lamberts, 73, who made his home with his sister, in the Town of Lagrange, died Friday, the 9th of December, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in the Bronx.
The son of the late Visvaldis and Eleonora Palen Lamberts, he was born on April 7, 1943, in Riga, Latvia. He attended Poughkeepsie schools and was a graduate of Arlington High School. He was also a graduate of Hamilton College and the Officers Candidate School, in Aberdeen, Maryland. He served in the United States Army and worked as a technical writer for NASA.
Arnis is survived by his sister, Astrida Melgalvis, and her husband, John.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family with Rev. Gail Bower Burger officiating.
Local arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave.
