I feel very lucky to have known Terry, meeting her while I worked with the Stearns County Master Gardeners. Terry was such a wonderful, giving, and caring person. I will remember Terry as a person who gave so much of herself in the activities she was involved with, because she was so passionate about teaching and helping others. My condolences to her entire family.

I only knew Terry through a couple of visits she made to Guatemala to see her daughter and my friend, Mary. She was well informed and engaged in widely varied activities, aiming to improve life for her fellow humans. I'm sorry to miss seeing her extensive display of all things Guatemalan, which apparently filled her home. Much love to her children, Mary and Cyle.

I was lucky to have known Terry via her wonderful daughter and my longtime sister-friend, Mary. I met Terry in my hometown, Tucson, Arizona, when she visited Mary during the time we worked with indigenous women from Central and South America. Terry was as interested in engaging with people from other lands as much as Mary and I . . . so we always shared the adventure of travel and the magic that comes from connecting with people from across this earth. Her greater spirit is released now . . . to carry on that love she had for people and the joy of life itself. Be in God's grace.

What a marvelous, multi-faceted person and brilliant educator! As a colleague of her daughter Mary, I first met Terry when she participated as a trainer for a group of early childhood education specialists from Peru. She wowed us all with her knowledge and experience... and she never stopped amazing me. I always looked forward to sharing in her visits to Mary's exotic postings in Guatemala. As the Mayans would say, I thank the Creator and Shaper of the Universe for the blessing of Doña Terre in my life. Be at peace, loving soul... We will miss you.

Ms. Groovy, as I recall from Campus Lab days! Quite a loss. What a great lady who made a positive, lasting impression on many, many people. She made herself and her family proud.

I will miss Terry in many ways, but especially her knowledge of native plants. Field trips were made finer with her helping to see the little quirks of nature at your side. Her experience and knowledge helped us create the butterfly garden and rain garden at the Sauk Centre fairgrounds. Thank You, Terry, for your contribution to the Stearns County Master Gardener Program.

Terry will certainly be missed at various Master Gardener events. Her cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable assistance was generously given for many years. She worked especially hard at the Stearns County Fair to make the MG input a meaningful experience for the public. Yet this was just one of her many volunteer activities. Thank you, Terry, for your generous participation in life!
