Dear Gionis Family:
We were so sorry to hear about the recent loss of our dear friend Matt. He was such a treasure to know and was very special to us. He was like another father to my
daughter, Kathy and grandfather to her daughter, DaeLynn. George and Matt had a wonderful trip to MN and he has missed him very much. He still talks about his loyal friend and all the good times they had together over the years. He has been like a family member to all of us. We are so glad that we saw Xanthi so that we now know his status as he has been in our prayers since we 1st heard of his stroke and have wondered how he and Bessie were doing. He was a wonderful friend who will surely be missed. Love,LaVone Blake and family

Jim and I are so sorry to hear of Matt's passing. We all worked together at Union Carbide in the early 70's and he was such a hard worker and dedicated to his family, he always was so proud of his children. Bessie, I will always remember you and how much fun we all had together. He will be missed, love and prayers to you all.
