On Friday June 15, 2012. Beloved father of Lisa Iannucci and husband, Craig Ronald Scupp, Nicole Iannucci and Marc Iannucci; cherished grandfather of Seth, Joseph Tenberg and Bryce Salvatore Tenberg; dear brother of Salvatore Joseph Iannucci and Robert Iannucci. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended New York University and Harvard Law School, where he specialized in taxation. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and attended Georgetown University, where he was later an adjunct professor at the law center. He was employed by the Internal Revenue Service and was chief of its reorganization branch before joining the firm of Wenchel, Schulman & Manning. In 1975, he joined Jones, Day, where he became a partner. Joseph taught a generation of tax lawyers, and was widely respected for his intelligence and creativity. He was an avid soccer fan, faithful friend and counselor and loving father. Friends and relatives may attend a memorial celebration at the Institute for Spiritual Development in Washington, DC on Friday June 22 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.
