Lois Mitchell

Lois Taft Mitchell, 83, of Concord died on January 7th 2015. Daughter of Leslie James Taft and Bessie May McLellan, she was born in Wayne, MI, attended the University of Michigan and Boston University School of Social Work, and was the first in her family to attend college. Lois was with Concord Family Service for 32 years and a resident of Conantum for 55 years. A long term member of First Parish Church in Concord she served as president of the Women's Parish Association. Lois was much loved of friends and family, her husband Peter and her four sons, Vincent Giuliano, Mark Giuliano, Graham Mitchell, and Andrew Mitchell, also her four grandchildren, Elijah Giuliano, Jonah Giuliano, Lillian Mitchell, and Katherine Mitchell. Private interment was held in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord. A memorial service is planned to be at First Parish Church in Concord, 20 Lexington Road, Concord on March 21st at 2 pm.
