Michael R. Harris, CPA, aged 74, born in Phoenix, AZ, passed away on May 4, 2016, in Albuquerque, NM. He was a loving husband, dad, granddad, brother, uncle, salty sea captain, coach, friend, and an expert in everything. Michael loved being with family and watching his grandchildren grow. He enjoyed boating, auto racing, wood-working, cruising around the world with Nancy, restoring old T-birds, a good party, reading, and ASU & Cardinals football.

He is missed by his wife of 53 years, Nancy; sons Mike and Spencer; daughters, Shellmarie and Roselle; grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Isabel and Lily; his sisters Patricia Boskovic, Debi (Brent) Primeau, and Cindy (Dave) Fix; ten nieces and nephews in AZ, CA, OR, WA; and his furry buddy, Eddie.

As a dedicated CPA for 47 years, Michael took pride in providing the best possible professional service to his clients. He started his career in 1966 in Honolulu, HI with Alexander Grant & Co. He went into private practice in 1980 and then had a 20 year partnership with Mike Fisher in Phoenix, AZ. He retired his practice in Albuquerque, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Louise Harris; grandparents, Sam and Elba Harris, Margaret and "Thomas" Thomas; and great aunt and uncle, Gertrude and Harry Chowning.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Harris Residence, Monday, May 9 from 2-4 pm. A formal service in California is pending.
