Luke Barnett Obituary
Luke A. Barnett passed away on July 23, 2017. Luke was adopted on June 18, 1959 by Barclay and Carol Barnett, who preceded his passing.
Luke is survived by wife, Pam of 24 years; sister, Lee Malone and husband, Timothy Malone; niece, Sarah Ramos and family; nephew, Matthew Malone; adopted daughter, Telly Perea and fiance, Andrew Garcia; nephews, Justin McIlrath and fiancee, Danielle Medina, Tyler Bryant and Mitchell Kubal and Mike Kubal and wife, Franna; grandchildren, Bubba, Brooklyn, Kayden, and Jaidan; niece, Emery Kubal; and many life-long friends and the Wednesday foursome golfing buddies, Mike Ross, Bruce Ross, and Andrew Garcia.
Luke enjoyed playing golf, travel, spending time with family and friends, and of course, having the last word.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH â€" University. Ennichement will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Please visit our online guestbook for Luke at

I first met Luke in the first grade at Cortez Elementary School. We reconnected in 7th grade at Albuquerque Academy where we went on to graduate together. Luke always struck me as goofy but old soul who had the gift of wisdom and generosity that could come from many trips through our world. He is certainly one who was a very, very good judge of character.
Luke will be missed at our 40th reunion this year.

My deepest sympathy to Pam and you family. Luke was an amazing friend and I'm so blessed that he came into my life to become long life friends. Both him and Pam always have a special place in my heart. He always had a smile and enjoyed life.
