Charles Treadwell Obituary
Charles E. Treadwell went to be with our Lord on April 27th, 2017.
He served in the US Army as a young man and retired from Albuquerque Police department and US Marshell Service.
Charles served as Pastor at Albuquerque Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Marilyn; his children and grandchildren, Jo and Kris (Buddy, Heather, Steven, Nick), Terry and Theresa (Elizabeth, Emily, Israel, Hannah, Alexandra, Terrisa, Michael, Sarah), Traci and Travis (Austin, Montgomery, Destiny); sisters-in- law Norma Plemons and Sallie Bueno; mother-in-law Margaret Austin; siblings Don and Kathy, Jeannie and Richard, Barbara and Fabian; many nieces and nephews.
Charles was a man of many talents and a heart of gold. His family was His LIFE.
Charles' Memorial will take place Sunday, May 7th 2017, 11:00 am at Albuquerque Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, 1534 Black Rd SW, Albuquerque, 87105. Services will be officiated by Pastor Daniel Sharpes. Please send flowers & condolences to 4101 Maryetta SW, Albuquerque, 87105.

Charles was an amazing man. He imparted his faith and knowledge to my husband and I over an 18 month period of time. He and Marilyn truly touched our lives. They were there to guide us at a pivotal point in our walk with Jesus. We think of them often and love them dearly.

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Charles many many years ago whe his father pastured Christian Felliwship on Atrisco. Many were saved and introduced to the Lord because of his love for God for us all. I sure miss those days. The greatest gift my aunt and uncle did was send us off to church with the Treadwells. I will never forget. Thank you.

Well Mr. Treadwell the end of one road has happened and the beginning of the next is underway, may your family draw together in your absence and may your legacy continue into the lives of those you ministered to directly and indirectly as well. I Will remember Charley as a unbroken man , a man that got what he wanted out of America and even if the odds where against him he found a way to come out on top. between Jobs he kept faithfully while also teaching at his church that he built from the ground up he always had time somehow to shake your hand tell you God bless you in a sense and remind you that church started 30 minutes ago ... You did it Charley . One last thing to check off the list ..Life*

Uncle Charles was a great man who loved his family but loved God even more !! When the entire family was together, that's when he was the happiest. We will surely miss him daily. He was a great role model for me and always an inspiration. We will always love you !

I had the honor of working with Charles at the Federal Courthouse downtown when I worked at Bankruptcy Court. I was able to share details about a court battle we were having to adopt our daughter. Charles was always asking how it was going and took great interest in our case. It warmed my heart knowing that he was praying for us. He was a great man and will be missed.

I miss u so much Dad!!! I wasnt ready to lose you! You were and always will be my hero! You taught me so much and showed me what a dad, a husband and a man should be. I love you sweet brother. You as the oldest and me as the baby( youngest) placed you as a hero, a protector for anyone who wanted to do me harm. I appreciate your military service to your country, service as a policeman, a Detective,a protector of the judges and lawyers and witnesses of the federal court system. Your service as a pastor. I am so proud of you. I thank God for the years we did have. The love and concern you showed as I recovered from cancer. All the texts we shared the last few years. Charles I love you forever my dear dear brother . I miss you but will see you soon in Heaven! And I know as I shed these tears you are with our Savior and loved ones in eternal health and glory .

I haven't seen Charlie since the RGHS graduation in 1964, but this was posted on the alumni page. I remember a sweet, quiet guy and want to express my condolences to his family. RIP Charlie. It looks like you had a wonderful life.
