Gene Sanchez



Gene Sanchez, age 70, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 with his family by his side. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Eva Sanchez, of fifty-two years; children, Diana Lucero and husband Ray, Agustin Sanchez and wife Patricia, Santiago Sanchez and Andrea Sanchez; brothers, Frank and Victor Baca and sister Rosemary Benz; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Sanchez was blessed to have had two sets of loving parents who preceded him in death, Pilar Sanchez and Elvira Tapia and Fidel Baca and Nieves Tapia, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Benavidez, Bennie Baca and Theresa Baca.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW.
