Susan Chipps-Lupori, age 57, passed away on March 24, 2021 at her home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Susan is survived by her former husband Dr. John Lupori, their children; Jack and Ellese and her mother Joanne Chipps.

Susan was a warm and loving person always ready to help where needed. She was welcomed wherever she went.

Susan and her parents settled in Albuquerque in the early 1970's. Susan graduated from Albuquerque Academy Class of 1981 where she played on the Tennis Team.

She also made the acquaintance of a woman who was a former White House Chef. Susan's love of cooking got a real boost during their friendship. Next, Susan went to University of Colorado where she met John her future husband. Following graduation Susan moved to Chicago and attended a school specializing in Paralegal Training. On graduation Susan was hired by a well known Law Firm in Chicago.

Susan and John were married on October 6, 1990 in Chicago. During their marriage she gave birth to three wonderful children. The family finally settled in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Last year tragedy struck. In November Susan's youngest child Caroline was killed in a skiing accident in Montana.

In February Susan decided to visit her mother in

Albuquerque. Preparations were well under way when Susan's time on this earth ran out. On April 7, 2021 a family and close friends funeral was held in the church chapel in Steamboat Springs.
