Hi Mrs. Theiler, I don't know if you check this still, but this was the only way I thought I could contact you. At times I just wish I had the video of Scott swimming for AA setting the state record or winning state... I can't remember, which one it was, but I know his swimming coach showed the video at the funeral. It was around 4:00 minutes long I believe, and it had the song "General Lee" by Johnny Cash playing to it. Do you have that video in digital format? I am leaving for college in August and that has been something I have been wanting to see for awhile... If you want to keep that safe and personal for you and your family, I totally understand... My Cell is 505 414-1310 if you want to text or call me sometime.
God bless,
Adam Fasulo

Dear Theiler Family,
We were so sadden to hear about the loss of your dear boy. Jack and Scott spent their high school years together in the both the natatorium and the classroom, and Jack considered him to be an amazing teammate but, most importantly, a kind friend. Scott will be deeply missed.
With heartfelt sympathies,

Dear Laura, Andy, and Sarah:
As we share your grief in the loss of Scott, we are reminded of the wonderful memories we have of him. What a caring young gentleman he was...and how he shared his witty personality as well as his physical toughness with everyone who knew him. One memory stands out to us as an example of this: the State Swim Championship when Scott missed his race because someone else took his lane by mistake. Scott then swam alone in the pool at State semifinals, an extremely difficult task to accomplish with all eyes on him alone. As a true and fierce competitor, Scott swam his best time and got into the top 8 final for the next day. Although he swam solo that day, he had a natatorium full of fans cheering him to victory. Now he has a host of saints and angels cheering for him. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Swim on, Scott. Godspeed!
With heartfelt sincerity,
Jay, Kat, Whit, and Garland Vinson Albuquerque, NM

For four years Scott was friend, teammate, and competitor to my two sons. He was admired and respected in all these ways - without a cross word heard about him. It was a pleasure to watch him grow into a fine young man - the kind of person I admire and want my sons to associate with. He was likeable, smart, so athletic (state relay record holder), and great looking kid. Scott was truly an exceptional person. He was loved and raised well by his fine family, who have my deepest condolences and respect. I am so sorry for your loss, but thankful my sons had him as a friend. Scott will be remembered so fondly.
Sincerely,

Scott was like a beam of sunlight bright, warm & glorious with his blond hair, amazing clear blue eyes & beautiful smile. He uplifted others while asking nothing in return, smart witty compassionate & full of life. Talented in the pool & a relentless competitor. He was a loyal & true friend to my son. The love & pride of his parents showing every time Scott was near & surrounded him. It was something you could feel. I know he felt the same way & you could see it reflected in his eyes. You were a loving family to him, that's why he became an incredible person. As we grieve the loss of no longer having Scott in our lives be reminded he is now in the loving arms of his heavenly father & at peace. Scott is now surrounded by the Lord's magnificent eternal love. With deepest sympathy & love, keeping you in prayer may the Lord watch over you, bring you peace & comfort & soothe your hearts.

If you have truly made an impact on others, your influence lasts not only for an hour or a day, or a college term, but for life. As swimmers at Stevens Institute, Scott and I were blessed with the opportunity to train with each other; I was able to see his talent and character first-hand. To many of us here at Stevens, Scott was a good person and teammate, and an even better friend. Scott, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless,
