David Duhon

Funeral services will be conducted for David Duhon, 52, on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 2:00 PM in the Holy Family Cemetery Chapel with Deacon Wade Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Mr. Duhon passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 12:10 PM at his residence. David was born to Joseph A. Duhon Sr. and Juanita Mary Picard Duhon on April 14, 1963 in New Iberia. David loved the outdoors which he hunted, fished, camped. He also really enjoyed playing music, dancing and he also loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife and best friend for 16 years Tammy Romero Duhon of Lafayette; sons Brock Maison and his wife Roxanne of Coteau and, Jousha Duhon of New Iberia; step-sons, Jeremy Romero and his wife Christina of Lafayette and Nicholas Romero and his wife Heather of Youngsville; step-daughter Amanda Reeder and her husband Jonathon of Duson; brothers Joseph A. Duhon Jr. and his wife Cynthia of New Iberia, Roland Duhon and his wife Wanda of New Iberia; Mark Duhon and companion Delilah of Youngsville; sisters Dianne Champagne of Erath, Juanita Ransonet of New Iberia and Lisa Latiolais and her husband Frank of Coteau; godchildren Crissy Duhon Wesley and Dale Vennard; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. Duhon Sr. and Juanita Mary Picard Duhon; brother-in-laws, Edward Ransonet and Frank Champagne; nephew Ryan Touchet; paternal grandparents Ovey and Elnora Duhon; step-grandmother Lydia Duhon and maternal grandparents Alladain Picard and Bernice Picard Brooks.
